Cripple Creek Mountain Ranch is a magnificent hilltop property centrally located between the Paso Robles, Atascadero and Templeton wineries and only 30 minutes away from the wonderful wineries surrounding San Luis Obispo.
This property is ideal for corporate executive retreats or for those wine enthusiasts interested in sharing the cost of a large, beautiful home and property by bringing a group of 4 - 5 couples (up to 7 couples if the cottage is rented also).
The main house is a comfortable 3,500 sf (maximum occupancy is 10 people for the main house). Each room is decorated with a country theme that is both quaint and inviting.
There is a separate, charming 2 bedroom/2 bathroom cottage available to rent for groups exceeding the capacity of the main house (between 11 and 14 people).
This property is also wonderful for small family reunions or accommodations for nearby weddings, etc.
The Central Coast rivals the Napa Valley featuring more than 100 wineries and vineyards in the region noted for their excellence in quality (this region is approximately 10 times the size of Napa).
On almost any given weekend one can find activities such as wine tastings and festivals, biking events, rodeos, and the famous Mid-State Fair.
Cripple Creek Mountain Ranch is a working ranch with a young vineyard and fruit trees, gardens (both flower and vegetable), and various livestock including donkeys, lambs, chickens, roosters, bunnies, etc. Therefore, we require daily access to the back yard of the main home for animal feedings (lamb and chicken corral is located at lower end of the 2-acrea back yard), checking pool and spa chemicals, and watering and maintaining the vineyard and gardens.
At any one time during the summer you might be able to walk out to the gardens and pick peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots, apples, watermelon, squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and GRAPES!! Fresh eggs are also offered when available.
Cripple Creek Mountain Ranch is great fun for families with children as well as adults who appreciate the intriguing vistas and the intrigue of a young vineyard sloping down off the pool and entertaining areas.
